The views should represent the same design (variations are different designs). Views showing different colors are different designs. Views with additional elements not clearly part of the design itself (numbering, wording and symbols) are not acceptable. The representation of the design should be reproduced on a neutral background. A product indication is a word that indicates the name of the product(s) which the design is intended to be applied to or incorporated in. You should word the specification of your products in such a way as to clearly indicate their nature, and so that the product(s) can only be classified in one class of the Locarno Classification. Product indications are placed in classes and subclasses, according to their purpose. The Locarno Classification headings describe in very general terms the nature of the different product indications classified under them. Each registered design will have one PI assigned to it, describing the goods to which it applies. Each product indication is classified in one class and subclass of the Locarno Classification. In this way, each time a user wants to register a design, it will be easy to check whether there are other registered designs that may be in conflict with the design they wish to register, by checking the registered designs that are classified in the relevant classes and subclasses.
